I guess when I said "old" I had this image of a black-and-white 1930's/1940's flick in mind. But really, any movie that evokes some sort of nostalgia would work. I mean, if "Sixteen Candles" or "Rambo" do it for you, go for it! Ha!
Funny - I wrote a poem my senior year of college that did just that - went back in time from a moment driving in my car to, ultumately, the big bang. I hope it wasn't erased when my harddrive - complete with current graphics projects - got wiped completely clean by one of my rogue programs...
I think I have the poem online somewhere. Perhaps I'll post it.
(Yet I don't recall it referencing any old movies...)
struggling with my own assignment. damn. no inspiration yet. let's hope for a lightning bolt.
I'm having a little difficulty, too, but about 5 minutes ago I actually started developing an idea I had a while ago for this assignment. I'm ready to run with it. The movie reference might be tricky; the subject matter doesn't immediately warrant it.
Oh - you'll have to tell me how open mic night is tonight. I don't think I can make it...
not going either. other plans. oh well -- don't think we're missing much. so sad.
